I found the MBA valuable to move into the kind of roles I wanted to get into pre-mba. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to switch job function and location post mba.
No one can predict without any doubts.
Currently, I feel grateful to have a network to reach out for support in the future that my MBA has provided me.
I feel fearless in trying out new things post my MBA. Meeting new people from across the world changed me subconsciously to explore and learn. It happened incrementally and over time.
MBA programs have a myth that the course structure are not so updated. I extremely enjoyed my classes which were not limited to just Finance or Marketing, and we had classes such as Ethics, Multilateralism, Organisational behaviour which were taught quite well and debated in a diverse classroom. I was surprised and happy to take these courses that has reshaped me during and post my mba.
Understand the reason on why you want to do MBA and where you want to live post MBA. The latter should drive your school choices.
It’s your personal goals and reasons that should drive that decision and not somebody’s else’s. Be ambitious and realistic of your goals.
