AK’s competitive spirit was shaped at one of India’s leading engineering schools, where she thrived among a high-performing peer group. She focused on developing strengths beyond academics, building empathy through student and staff welfare initiatives and leading a student-run consulting project that educated girls from disadvantaged households. AK graduated with honors and secured a role at a sought-after MBB firm.
While advising prominent Indian banks, AK saw firsthand the barriers faced by underserved segments, especially small-scale entrepreneurs. An international assignment confirmed these challenges were global, as aspiring entrepreneurs across the Middle East and North Africa struggled to access funding. AK realized that while her role offered valuable exposure, she needed to strengthen her strategic skills to build sustainable solutions for financial inclusion. The MBA was a clear next step to becoming a global strategist, advancing equitable access to opportunity.
Our key focus was to help AK uncover the depth of insight she had gained through supporting others across personal, academic, and professional spheres. These were experiences that shaped her understanding of human challenges and strengthened her problem-solving abilities across diverse contexts. Through structured reflection, we helped her connect the dots between life lessons and analytical skills needed to tackle complex problems. We worked to align her action-oriented mindset with her professional strengths, which led her to articulate a clear goal to drive financial inclusion through innovative, tech-enabled solutions in fintech. By combining her experience with structured frameworks and her passion for technology-driven problem-solving, AK was able to frame her goals in a grounded, scalable, and impact-focused manner.
AK’s vision to lead solution-building for disadvantaged communities, with a strong focus on technology-enabled, sustainable approaches to bridging access gaps, formed the foundation of a compelling pitch to M7 schools. Her clarity of purpose and well-articulated goals led to interview invites from six schools and final offers from four, each accompanied by generous merit scholarships.
